Hyperautomation Trends We Expect to See in 2025
In the fast-evolving world of technology, "hyperautomation" might sound like the buzzword of the month, but in reality, it’s becoming a cornerstone...
If this is something you have said when it comes to AI with all the hype in the news about it - you are NOT alone! In fact this is one of the most common sentiments we get when we discuss AI and the benefits, concerns, and practical steps required with this exciting new technology.
Most business leaders we talk to about AI tell us, "We just really aren't sure how or where to use AI". Or - "We are not a tech savvy business so AI won't apply to us". We also hear from leaders that they do not trust AI because they have heard stories of how it's not accurate or can give false information. Another big misconception is that AI is just all about creating content for marketing emails or blog content.
Most organizations we talk with also have not even started exploring automation technologies as a whole either. Business Process Automation is something that has been around for years and have matured into a very effective way to increase efficiencies, profitability, and when combined with AI can set your operations apart from your competitors and give you a huge advantage.
Another topic of discussion is around the security and governance of the information used in these tools. While these tools are amazing in terms of capabilities, you need to understand the impact to your compliance to regulatory frameworks. Simply using an AI tool that shares sensitive data, could put you at risk for fines or lawsuits.
The kicker for all of this is that it is happening at a pace we have never seen before and may never see again. In fact, according to Forbes Advisor, 73% of businesses plan on implementing and leveraging AI in the next year. Even with the dot com boom of the early 2000s, it took years for businesses to adopt and implement the technologies. Another intriguing statistic is that 77% of business leaders worry that AI will replace human workers. Others have disagreed and instead insist that AI won't necessarily replace human workers, but human workers that know how and where to use AI may replace those that do not.
What is almost certain is that these technologies are coming regardless of whether you are ready for them or not. Those that can adapt and adopt early will be able to lead the market and unfortunately those that are late will be left behind.
If this sounds like you or conversations you have had recently, we are hosting a webinar on Thursday to dive into what the different AI and automation technologies are, how you go about implementing them, and what the critical steps are for success when it comes to these technologies.
